I want to figure who I am and what I believe. Not to get too existentialist but I often found myself at parties or amongst friends and family last year, wondering: exactly where do I fit in? Do I agree with what this perso is saying or am I just agreeing for the sake of it to please them or to remain non-judgemental. I find myself shying away from giving my opinion. When I cam back to school I felt "right" again, like this is where I belong, and these are the people who understand me and help me feel like myself. Amongst my family friends, I felt out of place and always a little uneasy, like I was walking on eggshells and being judged harshly for not being likeable enough or fun enough. So, I want to strengthen my sense of self and identity. I'm not sure how I do that but I just want to feel resolute in my voice and my actions.

Last year I decided that I would say yes to more things and that mostly worked out quite well, I met new family and made new friends, realised that some people really liked my company. I was able to extend my networks and I hope to do so again.

Since I started effexor I hope that I can reign in my fear and anxiety. Most importantly, I have realized that I fear doing more than one big thing at a time because I don't believe that I can do two or more things well, but isn't that growing up and adulthood? So, again, this year, I want to prove to myself that I can lose weight while being in school (with a very flex schedule) and start practicing driving again in March or April once I've returned from another family trip and accomplish these goals on my own time and pace. My way is rarely right but I know myself and my speed. I know that if I do it in my own unique way I can succeed.

I really want to start dating this year and just get out there, romantically speaking.
